Avery is obsessed with tutus. Daddy knows this and has discovered that asking Avery if she loves her new "three-three" is not as funny as one might think. No, this dancing stuff is serious business for her. I tried to get her to play soccer with the boys, but given the choice, ballet and tap won hands down. I am loving it for her. I took her to buy her new ballet shoes, the lady who owned the shop was so cute. She led Avery by the hand to sit on this little bench and carefully helped my little ballerina try on her shoes. She told Avery to wear them every day and they should grow with her and last for two years! Of course that has been no problem.
At first I was hoping Avery would use her incredible deftness and speed to be the sports diva that I always wanted to be but never quite was. I could just see her out running all the little boys on the soccer field, scoring goals and sporting a cute ponytail. She, however, is so happy in her little dance world. Hears to individuality.

Oh my goodness, she is adorable and suddenly looking grown-up. What happened to "toddler Avery" that I still picture in my head?? It's good that you have a girl who wants to be girly to balance out all the sports-mania that genetically comes with having Michael's sons! (Any word on what the "box score" is today...I'll bet Austin could tell me!)
This is too darling! What a star! :) I love Mike's photo at the top of your blog, too! So amazing!
She is so cute! I never would have taken her for a ballerina because she's so much tougher than Hailey! I definitely would've thought the soccer-playin', goal-makin', ponytail-wearin' was a little more on target. But how cute! She's such a darling little girl.
Isn't it great to have a little dancer in the family? She is so cute! I love the days that Kate has dance because we don't have to fight about what she's going to wear because she wears her leotard and tutu all day long. The other day Jack brought Kate's dance clothes to me because he wanted to wear them. That didn't go over so well with Kate. I'll have to show Kate the picture of Avery. She'll love it!
What a cute little ballerina. I can't believe how big she is!
She definetly did not get her grace from he mom..ha ha. She is such an Emmy. Mike has some photography skillz (I wouldn't normally use a "z", I hate when people intentionally spell words wrong i.e. "kuts to dye 4" but it's my ode to napolean.)
I love it. What would it be like to have a girl?! I think that it is great that parents want to live through their children. It makes me understand my parents all the more. Just like a dad to make light of the most important thing in a girls life. :) Travis would so say the same thing.
That is so fun. I am glad that she likes dancing. I always wanted to dance, but never did. I hope Brooklyn will like it, but...who knows.
so cute...mags you need a little princess in your house of boys. besides we all know inside you are a true ballerina.
