Sorry! I didn't realize that you had to give the comments an okay. So I posted twice since I didn't see it come up! I guess I am just really excited Mike is home!
Of all the tender feelings that this picture radiates, to me it must be those of a father who has been in a foreign land and now holds that which is most dear to him. Thanks Mike! and may I say Thanks to each of you for your sacrifice. Best Memorial Day, tears and all.
Welcome home, Mike! The picture of you hugging all the kids at the airport captures all the emotion of being separated and returning home. The exact opposite of the picture of you all sitting on the couch just before you left. Smiling.
Hooray, oh and I love that you are so cool that you just post the picture and that's all you need. Seriously, when they get back there is absolutely nothing like it!
I am all teary eyed! THanks for posting an amazing picture that portrayed so much. Thanks to Mike and so many others who give so much for all of us. Thank you Maggie, for holding down the fort and supporting and loving your hubby. What a great family. I have 3 generations of servicemen in my family. They deserve all the positive recognition we can give them.
Seriously, how sad that I get all choked up at just a picture. That is really great that Mike's home and that is the best picture ever--worth a thousand words :) Yay for your family and good luck with your busy summer. Also you should come visit us. PS Trevor was talking to Nate (I think the AGD class after Mike?) and was saying how much fun it was at the conference they all went to in Florida and they should do it every year. I think they should, too, but they should also take their wives :)
So thrilled for you! How fitting to get home on Memorial Day. Thanks to Mike and all those willing to serve in times of war and peace. Love you all. Can you come home now?
I am so happy to have found you. Man, I didn't know how much I needed a "maggie fix" until now. I just laughed and laughed! How is your little family, why in the world are you freezing in Alaska, and...hmmmm..what else?,,oh,I am so glad Mike is home! Let's get caught up.
