Termination Dust: An alaskan term indicating the end of summer by the dusting of mountain tops with the first snow of the season. yikes.

WE are still at 90 degrees here in Boise, Idaho. I'm ready for it to cool off but I'm not ready for snow. You have quite the view out your back door. People pay for expensive hotel rooms for that kind of view! You should be used to snow and cold....you grew up in Monticello!

Our peaks got 'dusted' this week, too. We're a LOT further south, so what gives?

Yeah, I didn't know that phrase until the other day and we've been here for two winters already. I'm slow I guess. It's about time to pull out the hot chocolate. ;)
