wake me up when september ends

Life sure picks up around here when school starts. Austin started Kindergarten! He loves it and every day wakes me up at the crack of dawn asking how much longer until we can get in the van and go. when i pick him up it's all he can do to stay awake. they wear him out over there! He would only hold still for one picture, then he raced into the room with barely a goodbye!
For some reason we have all three big kids birthdays in the fall. So the birthday season kicked off with Quinton turning 8! The judi family tradition of decorating the house for the birthday kid is something we've carried on:jace and austin enjoying the decor.
Can you say Pokemon? I hope you never have too.

The birthday bowlers. look how happy quinton looks!
Avery has been begging for a haircut, since the boys always "get" one. I decided I'd better comply before she took matters into her own hands. she wanted all to see. of course.

this is just a slight portion of the september pie. more to come people. i'll try not to be scarce.

Avery's hair is as adorable as she is. She's looking grown-up! I'm glad Austin likes school, he's such a smart kid, and here's a place to put all those smarts to good use! Quinton, eight years old! I remember when he was a newborn and Dave was just getting home from his mission and Geoff and Annelisa were getting married! That doesn't seem like eight years ago. Thanks for the update...I love to see what you and your kids are up to.

Seeing all the pictures makes me wish you guys were close even more! They are so cute! Tyler loves kindergarten too--then when he gets home he wants to go play at his friends houses around the neighborhood (although he doesn't always get to, I think I'm a little more paranoid than most). I feel like I never see the kid!

I can't believe Quinton is 8. Baptism around the corner then, huh? Can't wait to see those pictures!

Busy, busy! I am a little mixed up when September comes around, but thankfully things are finally starting to flow a little better for us. Avery is just adorable too!

I think that picture is of you not Avery! She is your spitting image. You want to hear something crazy about school. This last August was the first August since Kindergarten that I have not had to go to school. I didn't know what to do with myself!

I asked Avery if she had a haircut last week and she said it so matter of factly that "Yes, I got a hair cut" and went about to do her preschool things. :) I think it looks great. I think that's a fun tradition to decorate. My kids would love it, then go about destroying it. :) How long does it last?

I love seeing pics of your kids. Quinton looks so grown up. He's changed a lot since we saw you last. I guess we haven't seen you since Jace's blessing. I'll have to show Kate Avery's cute haircut. Keep up the updates! I love hearing how you guys are doing. Dave doesn't tell me much after he talks to Mike. Don't you love how often they call each other? I'm glad it's free!

Happy Birthday!! And birthdays to come!! Fall is party time, eh? Oh...Pokemon....that is sort of a sore spot with me. It's even worse for Scott...he seriously cannot handle the fact that West could like something so....dumb. What can ya do???

By the way, your kids are ADORABLE!! That coloring! Just like yours....LUCKY!

Happy Birthday!! Wow..that makes for a crazy month. I can't believe that Quinton is 8. That's a biggie. The first of many special moments for him. :) Jeff loved talking to Mike on Sunday... I hope you can excuse our lameness, because despite our lack of communication we really do miss you guys! Tell Mike to look forward to some pics of the handlebar mustache...

P.S. I'm glad that we can have civilized traditions like blogging and the sharing of feelings instead of growing facial hair. However, if facial hair was the order of the day, I'd want to shave my head and grow hair next to my ears and a sole-patch like Daughtry! :)
